UX/UI Designer Opportunity - Digital Banking

UX/UI Designer Opportunity - Digital Banking

Overview

Eximbank's entering a new chapter — rethinking how it operates, with customers at the center of it.

We're looking for designers who turns "what customers actually need" into digital banking experiences people enjoy using. Think intuitive, accessible, consistent — across web and mobile — backed by real insight, not guesswork.

  • Report to: Product Lead & UX Design Lead

  • Department: Retail Banking (K.KHCN)

  • Location: Fairmont Hanoi, 27-29 Ly Thai To, Hoan Kiem, Ha Noi

What you'll be doing

Get to know our customers: Build and maintain personas & archetypes — who they are, what drives them, what they need — so every design decision starts from something real.

Map their journeys: Dig into the pain points and friction across the full banking journey — digital and beyond — from first sign-up to everyday use to cross-sell moments.

Watch how they actually use things: Look at usage data, feedback and current flows to spot what's working, what's not, and what good interaction patterns look like.

Make it real: Turn journeys and requirements into flows, wireframes and prototypes, then into ready-to-build deliverables — and keep our design system and components in good shape.

Bring people along: Work closely with the Product Owner, Project Manager, Business/Data Analyst, Journey Design Specialist, CX Lead and Engineers to land on requirements, timelines, feasibility and what "done" looks like.

Test it. Fix it. Repeat: Run validation tests, do design QA and UAT, and keep refining as needed.

Who we're looking for

A degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, IT, or similar.

4–6 years designing UX/UI for customer-facing web and mobile products — banking, fintech or other regulated industries are a plus.

A portfolio with real end-to-end case studies (not just pretty screens).

Strong instincts for UX/UI, interaction and visual design, accessibility, responsive design and design systems.

Comfortable running user research and usability testing yourself.

Fluent in Figma and the usual design collaboration tools.

Comfortable working in agile squads.

Nice-to-have

Have a Master's in Digital Product Design, HCI or similar.

Know your way around front-end and API basics.

Have experience tracking UX/product metrics — task completion, drop-off, feature adoption, UX defect rate, design-to-build rework, SUS/CSAT.

Dabble in motion/micro-interaction design, or write good UX copy in Vietnamese & English.
